Senior PIMS doctor dies of coronavirus in Islamabad

The deadly coronavirus has claimed the life of another senior doctor of the PIMS Hospital in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Dr Manzoor, Deputy Director of the PIMS Hospital Emergency Ward, succumbed to Covid-19 on Friday night. The 40-year-old doctor has been on a ventilator for the past month.
Young Doctors Association (YDA) has announced three-day mourning over the death of Dr Manzoor.
On Saturday, Pakistan has reported 45 deaths in the last 24 hours from coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 514,338 and the death toll to 10,863.
