Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Noor Alam Khan on Thursday objected to the appointment of secretary communications as the National Highway Authority (NHA) chairman, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.  

Chairing the meeting of parliament’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in Islamabad, he also ordered the extra-staff and officials present at the meeting to leave the room. 

Similarly, he expressed his strong displeasure when he came to know that the DG FWO had not showed up despite his summons.  

He ordered that the DG be called to the meeting immediately. 

The meeting also reviewed objections to the audit of Ministry of Communications and the NHA.
