Senior Vice-President and Chief Organizer of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Maryam Nawaz Sharif has filed nomination papers from PPP-63 Punjab Assembly constituency in Gujranwala on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The nomination papers for PP-63 had been obtained for Maryam Nawaz through Shoaib Butt, the PML-N Gujranwala Vice-President. a day earlier.

In a statement, Shoaib Butt confirmed that Maryam’s nomination papers will be submitted in Returning Officer (RO)’s office through her lawyer.

It merits mentioning that Ashraf Ansari was elected as the Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) from PP-63 in the 2018 general elections. Ashraf Ansari was one of the dissident members of PML-N but later he rejoined the PML-N.
