Pakistan’s nuclear, missile programmes under no pressure: PM Office

The Government of Pakistan has declared that the country’s nuclear and missile programmes are totally secure, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office on Thursday, the government said “In the wake of all the recent statements, press releases, queries and various assertions regarding Pakistan's nuclear and missile programmes, being circulated on social and print media, wherein even a traditional routine visit of DG IAEA Rafael Mariano Grossi for peaceful nuclear programme was portrayed in negative spotlight.”

The statement further says “It is emphasized that Pakistan's nuclear and missile programmes are a national asset, which are jealously guarded by the State.”

“Complete programmes are totally secure, foolproof and under no stress or pressure, whatsoever. It continues to fully serve the purpose for which this capability was developed,” the statement adds.
