The country has reported 102 new cases of coronavirus with no death during the past 24 hours, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

According to the statistics released by the National Institute of Health (NIH), the positivity rate of Covid-19 remained 0.68 per cent during the past 24 hours.

Furthermore, as many as 14,929 tests for coronavirus were also carried out during the past 24 hours.

The condition of at least 115 patients of Covid-19 is stated to be critical, according to the NIH.

It is to be noted here that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has ordered immediate restoration of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) in the wake of the emergence of a new case of Omicron sub-variant in the country a couple of days ago.

It also merits a mention here that the NCOC had been disbanded by the previous Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in March after the country witnessed an improvement in the virus situation.
