Massively celebrated yet controversial Pakistani queen Mathira has lately appeared in a show known as 'Aaj Ke Mehmaan' where the bold star shed light on how she belongs from a broken family so when she tied the knot, due to her character being dodgy and dark she had to try tremendously to make her marriage work.

Mathira stated that after tying the knot she thought of putting in more effort than a normal housewife due to her character being considerably bold. Therefore, she used to do various house chores which according to the Pakistani celebrity she shouldn't have done as she wasn't a maid.
Mathira declared: "Everything should be balanced. There is a lot of difference between a mother and a wife and mothers shouldn't be insecure about losing their sons."
Towards the end, Mathira provided her stance regarding 'mental slavery': "When woman thinks she can save a marriage and that her husband will change. A successful relationship requires teamwork."
According to Mathira, a successful marriage revolves around respect and a strong friendship.
