Death toll rises to nine in Hyderabad fireworks factory blast
Two more victims die in Karachi hospital
The death toll from the recent fireworks factory explosion and fire in Hyderabad has risen to nine, after two critically injured victims succumbed to their injuries in Karachi's hospital.
According to officials, the victims, identified as 45-year-old Shiraz and 35-year-old Naeem, were transferred from Hyderabad’s Civil Hospital to Karachi’s Civil Hospital for specialized treatment.
"Both had suffered severe burns, with nearly 100 percent of their bodies affected."
The incident, which involved a massive explosion followed by a fire at the factory, has left the local community in shock.
Investigations into the cause of the blast and fire are ongoing.
