Punjab govt gives Rs500,000 aid to stage actor Abid Charlie

The Punjab government has provided financial assistance of Rs500,000 for the treatment of veteran stage, television and film actor Abid Charlie, reported 24NewsHD TV.

A cheque worth Rs500,000 was handed over to Abid Charlie’s wife to help meet the expenses of his medical treatment.

According to the available information, Abid Charlie is suffering from paralysis, along with complications affecting his lungs and kidneys.

The veteran actor has remained associated with Pakistan’s stage, television and film industry for several decades.
