Hamza Ali Abbasi’s tweet on not visiting mosques creates furore
Famous actor Hamza Ali Abbasi tweeted to send a message to the people arguing about going to the mosques to attend Friday prayers.
Raising the issue on Twitter, he said, “Allah has given ease in prayer from Tayyamum/Qasr/praying at home in case of bad weather, let alone a deadly virus.”
He then went on to blatantly make certain comparisons, “but it feels like the clergy in my country is becoming like the Pharisees of Bani Israel who want God to do what they say rather than surrender to what God says.”
