Hot and dry weather to persist across Pakistan

The weather office predicted hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country today (Sunday), however, rain-wind/thunderstorm is likely at isolated places in northwestern Balochistan during evening/night hours, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country and a westerly wave is likely to enter Western parts of the country on Sunday (evening/night).
In Karachi, the mercury could go upto 36 degree Celsius and weather is quite pleasant in port city due to continental air prevailed, however, the city will face dry weather today.
In Lahore, the air quality index was recorded at 130 and the city has 33 degree Celsius temperature right now and weather office predicted no rains in the upcoming days.
Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country on Saturday, however, rain-winds/thunderstorms occurred at isolated places in Kashmir.
