Lux Style Awards organizers confirm awards to be held in May, reject cancelleation rumours
The much-awaited Lux Style Awards 2025 have been scheduled to be held in May in full swing, as the organisers have confirmed.
It was all rumors that were circulating on social media platforms that Pakistan's biggest and most prestigious award show Lux Style Awards 2025 had been cancelled.
In the past few days, posts and YouTube videos were spreading misinformation regarding the awards show, but now the PR agency has cleared the air.
Further, the agency said that it's very important to verify such baseless news before spreading it, as it not only affects the reputation of the event but also hurts the fans who are waiting for the show.
According to the false news by some local media portals, the awards were cancelled this year due the security concerns.
Fans and nominees expressed disappointment and concerns over the cancellation of the show. Reacting to the same, a user stated: “You can’t just do it. Pakistan hardly has award shows. There was LSA, now that too cancelled. You guys simply can’t organise an award show, how will your industry grow ??? it's UNFAIR”.
Another added: “They compare themselves with Indians and they can’t even arrange an award show”.
It is important to mention that the Lux Style Awards 2025 were scheduled on May 7, 2025, and the nominees of the show were already announced.
