PM Shehbaz lauds President Trump for praising Pakistani leadership

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday lauded US President Donald Trump for his praise of Pakistani leadership in easing Middle East tension especially opening of Strait of Hormuz.

In response to posts of US President in which Donald Trump has extended gratitude to Pakistan after Iran opened Hormoz, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed gratitude to the US President by saying that “Mr. President, on behalf of the people of Pakistan, on behalf of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and on my own behalf, I express my deep and heartfelt appreciation for your kind and compassionate words”.

Earlier, Trump has said that Iran opened Hormuz after great efforts of Pakistan’s “great” Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir, calling them “two fantastic people”.
