Ziqaad moon likely to be sighted on Saturday evening 

Suparco while making an important prediction regarding the sighting of the moon of Ziqaad 1447 AH has forecast that the crescent will born on April 17 at 4:52 pm Pakistan time, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

According to Suparco, there is a strong possibility of sighting of the moon across the country on the evening of April 18 (Saturday).

The 1st Ziqaad 1447 AH is expected to be on Sunday, April 19, in Pakistan.

According to Suparco, the age of the moon at the time of the sunset on April 18 will be more than 26 hours.

A gap of 81 minutes is expected between sunset and moonset in coastal areas.

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will make the final announcement of the beginning of the new Islamic month based on the evidence.
