Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi and singer-songwriter Shehzad Roy have made an appearance in ‘Time Out with Ahsan Khan’ where the renowned cricketer urged Mr Roy to work towards getting TikTok banned.

Now you might wonder why Afridi is SO against the TikTok application. 

Afridi feels that the celebrated singer (Shehzad Roy) always talks about prominent issues therefore he should talk about the issue of TikTok as well.

The cricketer talked about how education has not reached remote areas yet whereas Wi-Fi definitely has and in order to access the internet, one needs to be educated.

Afridi revealed: “I get shocked seeing 12-13 year olds using mobile phones in front of me.”

He further mentioned: “My daughter has turned 19 and now I have given her a mobile.”

Shahid Afridi believes that internet is a big cause of diversion and there is a certain time for everything.
