The application submitted by a local Shafiq Satti says that the dance on the occasion of the national sacred event is shameful conduct and an “insult to our Independence Day”.

What happened in the convention center was against Islamic values, the issue spread obscenity and nudity which hurt the national dignity, it adds.

The main event of the 75th Independence Day of Pakistan took place at the Jinnah Convention Center in Islamabad. The event was attended by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani as well as members of the Federal Cabinet.
