Man poisons wife to death in Lahore

A man allegedly took the life of his wife in Lahore’s Nishtar Colony area by “poisoning” her, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

According to police, 35-year-old Mumtaz was brought to the General Hospital in a critical condition where she died.

The police said the man left the dead body of his wife in hospital and ran away. The police shifted the body to a mortuary. The cause of death will be known in the post-mortem report.

The family of the deceased woman has accused the husband of killing his wife with a poisonous substance.
