Four criminals killed in overnight Lahore police encounters

The Counter Crime Department Unit (CCDU) engaged in multiple encounters across Lahore last night, leaving four wanted criminals dead, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

The encounters took place in Manga Mandi, Raiwind, Badami Bagh, and Shahdara, where each operation led to the killing of one accused. 

The deceased were identified as Faheem (Manga Mandi), Naveed (Raiwind), Aqeel (Badami Bagh), and Kashif (Shahdara).

Police sources revealed that all four accused were being taken for recovery and identification purposes when their accomplices opened fire to rescue them.

In retaliation, the criminals were killed in the crossfire, effectively falling victim to their own gang’s bullets.

According to CCDU officials, the slain men were wanted in several heinous cases and had a long criminal history.
