KP govt will rebuild houses destroyed in floods: CM Gandapur
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur has assured flood victims that the provincial government will take all out measures for their rehabilitation, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
Addressing a press briefing in Swat, CM Gandapur said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will rebuild houses destroyed in the floods.
He said now the government will establish new settlements away from water. Chief Minister Gandapur said government will launched DI Khan-like operation against encroachments in the entire province.
He said it was the duty of the federal government to help the flood victims. Gandapur said the chief ministers of all provinces have contacted him and offered all out support in flood relief activities.
CM Gandapur said the federal government was also responsible for what it does.
He said there were two helicopters, one crashed. Gandapur said army was busy in relief activities. CM said now KP province was self-sufficient as an endowment fund of Rs. 190 billion were available with the provincial government. He said PTI government was proud. There are those who give help, not those who take help. CM Gandapur urged the the public to stand united during hard days.
