Sindh Minister for Agriculture Ismail Rahoo tested positive for the coronavirus on Thursday.

According to the details, the provincial minister quarantined himself at home after testing positive for the deadly virus. 

The coronavirus positivity ratio in Pakistan has dropped to 6.3 percent on Thursday as compared to 7.2 percent a day earlier, the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) said. 

According to the latest NCOC figures, as of December 17, the highest positivity ratio was recorded in Karachi 16.59% followed by Peshawar 13.34% and Mirpur 9.40%. The number of patients in serious condition is rising fast in Pakistan as 2,505 Covid patients were critical across the country.
