Saudi Arabia-bound PIA flight makes emergency landing after crack surfaces on side screen

A Riyadh-bound plane of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) that took off from Islamabad had to make an emergency landing at the Jinnah International Airport, Karachi after a crack appeared on its side screen, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Friday.
The PIA flight PK 9753 flew for Riyadh from Islamabad and had to land at the Karachi airport after a side screen of the plane got cracked.
The pilot immediately contacted Karachi after noticing the crack and after getting permission from the Air Traffic Controller it made a technical landing at Karachi Airport.
According to a PIA spokesman, the Boeing 777 plane made a technical landing after a crack appared on its side screen.
PIA spokesperson said the PIA engineers later replaced the side screen and the plane was allowed to leave for Saudi capital.
