Islamabad court extends interim bail of Imran Khan

The district and session court in Islamabad on Saturday approved extension in interim bail of PTI Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan in a case relating to attack on PML-N leader Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha by PTI workers after Toshakhana case verdict, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The court granted extension to the PTI chief until January 9.
The court also accepted Imran Khan’s application, moved by his counsel Babar Awan, for exemption from appearance on medical grounds.
Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal heard the case.
