No judge has been appointed so far in anti-corruption court number 2 in Lahore since two months due to which hundreds of cases are pending for more than 12 years, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Litigants are facing severe problems due to the non-availability of a judge in the court as cases are being adjourned without being heard.
Former judge Mushtaq Elahi was transferred two months back.
Lawyers said that matters of urgent nature and bail are being heard at court number 1 due to which workload has been increased on the court. Lawyers demand the appointment of a judge in court number 2 at the earliest.
