In the face of PTI’s decision to dissolve two provincial assemblies, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has devised a strategy to stop the dissolution of the Punjab Assembly, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday. 

According to party sources, there are chances that the PML-N will submit a no-confidence motions against the Punjab Chief Minister Ch Pervaiz Elahi and Speaker Punjab Assembly Muhammad Sibtain Khan later today. 

The PML-N leadership has given a green signal for the submission of the no-trust motions. 

All the PML-N lawmakers of the Punjab Assembly have been directed to assemble at the office of former provincial education minister Rana Mashhood.

The party sources confirmed that PML-N MPAs’ signatures have already been taken on the no-trust motions.

Javed Latif says anti-state elements to be brought to book 

Meanwhile, hitting hard on his political opponents, PML-N Vice President Mian Javed Latif has said that those who work against the state, they could not be forgiven.

Talking to media in Lahore on Saturday, PML-N leader Javed Latif said that anti-state elements could not be forgiven. He said that the people’s confidence could only be restored if the culprits and their facilitators were brought to justice.

Javed Latif also called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and discussed political situation in the country.
