'They got what they deserved,' Alizeh Shah overjoyed at Saba Faisal and Nida Yasir controversies

Alizeh Shah shared her sense of vindication while responding to the recent controversies involving Saba Faisal and Nida Yasir, describing the situation as karma and stressing that respect must be earned and reciprocated, not demanded on the basis of seniority.

She hinted at an unpleasant past collaboration with Saba Faisal, suggesting that her looks were scrutinised and dismissed as not being “natural.”

Alizeh also took a veiled swipe at Nida Yasir by alluding to claims of delayed or unpaid dues linked to her husband, Yasir Nawaz, and urged the morning show host to stop repeatedly inviting her to appear on the program.

She elucidates through her Instagram stories: “sorry saba aunty karma bohot buri cheez ha 2 serial saath krnay k baad bhi apko natural nhi lagi thi i hope ab apko saaf saaf dikhra hoga. nida aunty apnay bhi waise yasir uncle se hi seekhi ha na ye logon ko un k hak paise na dene wali harkat?

"or pls apnay 2 takkay k show mn apnay assistant ko bol k invite na karayn bar bar jin k paise artists ko miltay hi nahi

"so happy to see these SO CALLED seniors getting what they deserve.”

In a follow-up story, she added: “Respect is a mutual exchange of effort and integrity not a privilege granted by hierarchy or seniority alone!”

Her remark on Saba Faisal “Saba Aunty, you worked with me on two projects and still didn’t find me natural. Hopefully, you can see clearly now,” is a blow in the face for veteran actor's accusation on Alizeh Shah having undergone treatments for her looks.

She took a sharp dig at Nida Yasir, suggesting that Nida’s treatment of her staff may have been influenced by her husband, actor-producer Yasir Nawaz.

The Tanaa Banaa actress who shot to prominence at a young age with her role in Superstar and later earned widespread acclaim as Dr. Dua in the hit drama Ehd e Wafa, is once again in the spotlight, this time for her unapologetically blunt remarks.

Through these statements, Alizeh Shah appears to be directly calling out senior figures in the Pakistani entertainment industry whom she feels have wronged her professionally.

By mentioning veteran actor Saba Faisal, Alizeh is seemingly responding to past criticism she believes Saba Faisal made about her acting, and her “natural” performance despite working together in two dramas.

Alizeh’s reference to karma and her assertion that things should now be “clear” suggests she feels time has validated her talent and exposed unfair judgments made against her earlier in her career.

The tone indicates lingering hurt as she implies that those who doubted her are now facing the consequences of their own actions.

When addressing Nida Yasir, Alizeh’s comments take a more accusatory and systemic turn. She hints at alleged unethical practices, specifically accusing Nida Yasir and, by extension, her husband Yasir Hussain, of normalizing behavior where artists are invited onto shows but are not properly paid for their appearances.

By criticizing Nida’s morning show and asking that assistants stop repeatedly inviting artists who are not compensated, Alizeh suggest that there is a broad issue of exploitation within the industry.

Her language reflects deep frustration with what she sees as powerful insiders taking advantage of younger or less influential artists while hiding behind their senior status.

Saba Faisal, a seasoned performer with decades of experience, recently found herself at the center of backlash after offering advice in interviews about managing daughters-in-law.

Her comments were widely criticised as regressive, reigniting conversations around entrenched cultural attitudes and evolving social values.

Around the same time, morning show staple Nida Yasir also faced public anger after making disparaging remarks about food delivery riders. The criticism prompted Nida to issue a public apology, admitting her comments were inappropriate.
