Imran Khan’s sisters and 400 PTI activists booked in Adiala Jail protest case

A case has been registered against several Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders, including the sisters of the party’s founder, following a protest outside Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi. 

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the case, filed at Saddar Police Station, has been registered under provisions of the Anti-Terrorism Act.

The accused include Aleema Khan, Dr Azmi, Noreen Niazi, Qasim Khan, Salman Akram Raja, Alia Hamza, Naeem Panjotha, Tabish Farooq, Nadia Khattak, Raja Asad Abbas, and over 400 other party activists.

According to police, 14 suspects were arrested at the scene and were presented before an Anti-Terrorism Court on Wednesday. 

The investigation is ongoing, with authorities continuing to monitor the situation.
