Severe weather and Israeli attacks deepen crisis for Palestinians in Gaza

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has deepened as Palestinians continue to face a dual threat from Israeli attacks and extreme weather conditions, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

Fourteen more Palestinians have reportedly died, while stormy winds and heavy rains have destroyed tents and flooded temporary shelters across the region.

At Al-Shifa Hospital, one of Gaza’s largest medical facilities, leaking roofs have added to the strain on already overstretched resources, creating alarming conditions for patients and medical staff.

The ongoing Israeli blockade has further exacerbated the crisis, causing severe shortages of food, water, medical supplies, and other basic necessities.

Residents describe a situation of extreme vulnerability, as families struggle to protect themselves from both the violence and the harsh winter conditions.

Aid agencies warn that the combined impact of conflict, blockade, and deteriorating weather has placed Gaza’s civilian population at grave risk.
