Woman kidnapped in Abbottabad by ex-in-laws of her son

Police in Abbottabad on Wednesday registered a case of the kidnapping of a 40-year-old woman over a domestic dispute, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The woman was going along with her husband and brother-in-law to a relative’s home in a car when five persons, who were waiting for them in a jungle in Thandiani, stopped their vehicle, made the woman’s husband Muhammad Maroof and her brother-in-law alight from the car and tied them with a tree.

Later, they kidnapped the woman.

The FIR of the incident was registered at Bikot police station.

It is believed that the woman had been kidnapped by the former in-laws of her son, who had divorced his wife and now case related to the payment of haq mehr was sub judice in a court in Mansehra.

The story of the murder of another woman, Dr. Warda Mushtaq, also from Abbottabad is already making headlines.

Warda was kidnapped by her bossom friend and was later murdered.
