YouTuber Sohrab Barkat sent to jail on judicial remand

Rejecting the request made by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) for 10-day physical remand of YouTuber Sohrab Barkat, a court in Islamabad on Wednesday sent the YouTuber, who had been taken into custody in connection with sharing anti-state content on social media, to jail on judicial remand instead, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Earlier, the YouTuber was produced in court on the completion of his two-day physical remand.
Judicial Magistrate Abbas Shah heard the case.
The NCCIA had registered a case against Sohrab.
