Mawra Hocane thanks Salman Khan for his support amid Sanam Teri Kasam success
The newlywed bride of the Pakistani showbiz industry Mawra Hocane thanked Bollywood superstar Salman Khan for his support and love during 'Sanam Teri Kasam' filming in 2015.
Talking to Filmfare, she shared how Salman's connection with Sanam Teri Kasam's directors Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru led him to be involved with the film.
"We received a lot of blessings and love from him throughout the film. My directors had previously worked with him. So we were connected with him throughout. I remember back then he gave us appreciation and love for the film. I was over the moon," she said.
She also spoke about Salman's popularity worldwide and said that her favorite Bollywood movie of his was 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'.
Mawra added, "I always thought that he is the biggest actor and star to have come out of Bollywood. He still stands as that today. Mashallah, he's had such a long career. I think when you admire such actors and follow their journey, it kind of also teaches you to be consistent. Over the decades, you'd want to leave a mark. I've always been inspired by him."
Mawra recently tied the knot with Ameer Gilani and it is like Ameer is lucky for her as her film Sanam Teri Kasam, opposite Harshvardhan Rane, was immense success after its re-release in India.
