Mohsin Naqvi directs upgradation of National Police Academy

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Monday directed to upgrade National Police Academy (NPA) as per latest international standards and in line with Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The minister gave these directives while presiding over a high-level meeting to review upgradation of National Police Academy in Islamabad.

Mohsin Naqvi also directed to construct separate technical training centre, indoor and outdoor shooting range equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

The interior minister also ordered measures for expansion and beautification of the parade ground.

During the meeting, the interior minister reviewed the reforms which will be implemented in future.

A comprehensive briefing was given to interior ministry regarding up-gradation of National Policy Academy.

Mohsin Naqvi said that an Elite Force Training School will be established in National Policy Academy.

On the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi directed to complete residential blocks of under-training officers on priority basis.

He directed to present master plan after necessary changes. Mohsin Naqvi said that our motive is to convert this institution as per international standards where foreign officials will also get training.
