Aseefa Bhutto extends best wishes on Chinese new year

First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday extended her best wishes to the Chinese people on the occasion of the Chinese new year.

“Wishing our Chinese brothers and sisters a very Happy Chinese New Year!,” the first lady said in her post on ‘X’.

“May this year bring prosperity, peace, and new opportunities for the people of China and strengthen the enduring friendship between Pakistan and China,” she added.

Earlier, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have extended warm greetings to the people and government of China on the occasion of Chinese New Year, “the Year of the Horse”.

In his message, the President reaffirmed the enduring Pak-China all-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership and wished peace, prosperity and shared progress ahead. 

The Prime Minister in his message said the new Chinese year would further strengthen the enduring bilateral friendship and deepen cooperation for the prosperity of two peoples.

In a post on X handle, she expressed hope that the new year will bring prosperity, peace and new opportunities for the Chinese people and strengthen the enduring friendship between Pakistan and China.
