Lahore court declares 14 TLP leaders as proclaimed offenders
An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore has declared 14 Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan leaders as proclaimed offenders in arson and attack on police cases, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Court also issued permanent arrest warrants for 14 absconding leaders of TLP.
Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi, Anas Hussain Rizvi, Mian Jamil Ahmed Sharqpuri, Qari Farooq-ul-Hassan and Saif-ur-Rehman have been declared proclaimed offenders.
Ghulam Abbas, Maulvi Sufyan, Muneeb Tariq, Saif-ur-Rehman, Hafiz Usman, Muhammad Wajid, Muhammad Kawash, Muhammad Qurban and Naveed Aslam have also been declared as proclaimed offenders.
Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Manzar Ali Gul conducted the hearing.
According to investigation officer, advertisements were published but the accused did not appear.
The investigation officer said that the accused have gone into hiding due to fear of arrest.
Shahdara Police Station filed a petition to declare the accused as proclaimed offenders.
Case No. 4987/25 has been registered against the accused in Shahdara Police Station.
The leaders are accused of arson, encircling the workers and inciting violence against the police.
