Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahzada Khalid Parvez from Chitral, joined the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari welcomed Shahzada Khalid by gifting him a traditional muffler on the occasion of joining PPP.
Khalid Parvez said the people of Chitral are followers of ‘Bhuttoism’. He added: “Your narrative is the voice of the hearts of the people”.
Moreover, PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Najamuddin Khan called on Bilawal at Zardari House in Islamabad.
On the other hand, key party members called on the PPP chairman and briefed him on the preparations for the long march on February 27.
Talking to the delegations, the Chairman PPP said that with the increase in power prices by four rupees, the prices of petroleum have also been increased by more than three rupees.
He said that the main objective of the long march of PPP is to save the people from ballooning inflation and economic crisis.
Inflation and unemployment must end, otherwise, it is necessary to get rid of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Bilawal added.
Bilawal said that enough is enough, people will leave for Islamabad on February 27 and will hold premier Imran accountable against mounting inflation.
Bilawal lashed out at the PTI-led government and said they have mortgaged the people to the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Pakistan's decisions are being made abroad, Bilawal added.
