Defence Minister Khawaja Asif Tuesday said, “If our government is asked to take the vote of confidence, the process will be completed respectfully and honourably,” reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
While commenting on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s hint at returning to the Parliament, Khawaja Asif said how Imran Khan could come back to the National Assembly.
“All the MNAs of the PTI had resigned on the night of the no-confidence motion, and their speaker Qasim Suri had accepted everyone’s resignation. Everyone had seen it live on television,” he added.
“Nawaz Sharif wants to come home immediately. He also went to Geneva to consult with doctors. Today, even the opponents are saying that not mere injustice but a tragedy happened to Nawaz Sharif,” he stated.
“No game has been played with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). In politics, the parties face ups and downs. The PML will recover soon,” he asserted.
