4,200 candidates to compete for 510 seats in JSMU entrance test

A total of 4,200 candidates will appear in the joint admission test at Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) for 510 seats across BSN, DPT, Pharm-D, and BSMT programs, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday.

According to university officials, as many as 4,839 students had registered, of which 4,200 were deemed eligible to sit for the exam.

Arrangements have been made for 4,600 candidates, with 257 invigilators and 8–10 cluster heads (team leaders) deployed to ensure smooth conduct.

The test, scheduled for 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at both JSMU campuses, requires candidates to report by 9:00 am.

OMR sheets will be used for answer submission, and results will be announced on the university’s official website.

Officials said the exam is crucial for students aspiring to enter the medical and health sciences fields, and with seats far outnumbered by candidates, intense competition is expected.
