‘No salary, no work’
On the other hand, registration staff along with the IT workers at Expo Vaccination Center Karachi staged a protest against the non-provision of salaries.
The public vaccine registration has been suspended at Pakistan's largest vaccination centre in Karachi after contract employees went on to stage a protest as they have not received salaries for the last three months.
About 300 workers protested at the Expo Centre, saying they should be given their due right as per the promise made. The protesters also chanted slogans and said there would be no work if they would not get any salary.
However, the protesters returned to work after assurances of payment of salaries from the authorities.
Also, as many as 12 passengers were tested positive from a flight which came from Saudi Arabia and landed at the Karachi International Airport.
