Senior TV artist Naila Jaffery passed away in Karachi on Saturday due to Cancer, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Only recently, she was admitted to a hospital on account of infection.

Back in April, a heart-wrenching video of the actress had gone viral on social media in which she talked about the financial strains she was facing due to her prolonged illness.

In the video, she asked for royalties for her drama shows being re-telecasted on television channels.

Funeral prayers for Thodi Si Khushiyan star, who had been suffering from Cancer for the last several years, would be offered today at Masjide Tooba, Defence Phase-I after Isha prayers, her brother Atif Jaffery confirmed.

She would be laid to rest at Army Graveyard near Kala Pull.
