Pakistani cricket captain Babar Azam has once again proved why he was the best when he scored a century against Sri Lanka on the second day of the first Test match in Galle.
Against the odds, Babar Azam hit ten fours and a six to complete his seventh Test century. He came to the crease when Pakistan lost both the openers a little before close of play on Saturday.

Chasing Sri Lanka’s total of 222, the Pakistani batting line-up was in tatters. Babar, however, held the one end intact as he batted throughout the day on Sunday.
Azam smashed spinner Maheesh Theekshana for a four and then took a single to bring up his seventh Test century as he leapt up in joy in the final session in Galle.
The leading Pakistan batsman averages over 45 in 40 Tests since making his debut in 2016.
He shared an unbeaten last wicket partnership of 55 runs with pace Naseem Shah.
