The presiding officers overseeing polling for by-election in PP-07 Kahuta-Rawalpindi have barred all the media from entering any polling station in the constituency for coverage of the voting process, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The presiding officer deputed at polling station in Government Higher Secondary School Matore said on Sunday that they had orders from their senior high-ups not to let mediamen enter any polling station.

The presiding, however, further said that the journalists belonging to Rawalpindi can enter the polling stations but without cameras.

He warned if the media film the polling booths they will call in the police.
