South Air operates two flights from Karachi Airport

Air travellers in Pakistan have received good news as a new airline, South Air, has officially launched its domestic flight operations, expanding air connectivity between several major cities across the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

According to South Air Station Manager Shahid Iqbal, the airline operated two domestic flights from Karachi on its first day of service.

The first flight departed from Karachi at 7:00 am and is scheduled to fly to Turbat before continuing to Peshawar. The aircraft will then return via Turbat and is expected to arrive back in Karachi at 5:40 pm.

However, the second flight left Karachi at 7:30 am and is operating on the Karachi-Bahawalpur-Islamabad route. It is scheduled to return to Karachi at 4:55 pm.

Shahid Iqbal said both flights will provide domestic air services to passengers traveling between Karachi, Turbat, Peshawar, Bahawalpur, and Islamabad, improving connectivity and offering more travel options.

The airline has also advised passengers to arrive at the airport well before their scheduled departure time to complete check-in and other travel formalities without delay.

South Air's launch marks the addition of a new domestic carrier in Pakistan's aviation sector, with regular services expected to improve convenience for travelers across the country.
