British High Commission highlights Pak-UK friendship on eve of Queen’s birthday

British High Commission Team has launched a video featuring the friendship between the UK and Pakistan in connection with the birthday of Her Majesty the Queen.
In its message, the British High Commission Team expressed that, “We would normally at this time meet in person to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen’s birthday. The pandemic has meant that our celebrations are no longer the same. We live in worrying times with separation and loss for us all. Yet there is still much to be hopeful about. Our friendship is more mazboot (stronger) than ever with some big successes. We hope that you will enjoy the short video we have made on this occasion highlighting the best of our UKPakDosti.”
The video features the efforts of Pakistan against Covid-19 pandemic with support of UK aid. It termed the ongoing year as a year of partnership on cricket, trade, climate change and our people-to-people links. It includes the pictorial coverage of Pak-England joint efforts for the betterment of society. The video gives a message, “England’s cricket teams’ first tour to Pakistan in 16 years announced by the High Commissioner.” It says, “The UK remains one of the biggest exports markets for Pakistan. PM Boris Johnson hails Pakistan’s efforts to tackle climate change in a video message as Pakistan hosts World Environment Day.
The video gives the message that our friendship continues to grow stronger. “A very happy birth to Her Majesty The Queen.”
