Another Mismanagement of Primary Health Department in Sialkot where people wanting a jab of "AstraZeneca" or "Pfizer" vaccine destroyed the Hockey Stadium COVID-19 vaccination centre, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Angry mob thrashed everything and were about to hit the duty doctor and staff as they didn't get their desired "AstraZeneca" / "Pfizer" vaccine.

The vaccination centre has already limited staff and space to administer the vaccination and the administration closed the doors due to the rush of people, mostly expatriates, which led to the destruction of the facility.

The centre incharge also flee from the scene when people started ransacking the centre. There are only three vaccination counters at the centre while hundreds of people were queued to get vaccinated. However, most of them wanted "AstraZeneca" or "Pfizer" as the Chinese vaccine is not listed by many foreign countries including Saudi Arabia.

However, Pfizer is only available in Islamabad and there is also limited availability of AstraZeneca in the country as Pakistan is currently banking on China to vaccinate its population.

During the incident, many citizens got injured as police remained failed to stop the people from destroying the centre.
