PM Shehbaz, Fazl discuss political situation

Pakistan Democratic Movement and Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to sources, both the leaders discussed current political situation in the country. They also held a discussion on taking measures to provide relief to people in the budget.

While talking to media persons on June 5, JUI Chief Maulana Fazl said that the PDM was not an election alliance, casting doubt about the likelihood of Pakistan Democratic Movement parties contesting the next elections from a single platform.

He, however, said that the parties in the PDM might go for seat adjustment at local levels.
