Senior Punjab jail officer dies in road mishap

Deputy Superintendent Jail, Punjab Asim Hameed has died in a road accident, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Hameed, who was in Lahore in connection with a promotion course, was heading to Pakpattan when he met with an accident on Deepalpur-Pakpattan road.

Tehsil Headquarter Hospital, Deepalpur has confirmed that the deputy superintendent died on the spot.
