Several held as police open fire at protestors trying to reach Balochistan Assembly
Police have resorted to aerial firing on the workers of Balochistan Grand Alliance who are staging protest for the acceptance of their demands on the eve of provincial budget 2026-27 which is being tabled today, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
The workers of Balochistan Grand Alliance took to street in various areas of Quetta city and all rallies meet at Chaman Railway crossing.
After reaching Chaman Railway crossing, the protestors decided to march towards Balochistan Assembly. In order to stop the protestors, police opened aerial firing on the workers and several were also arrested.
Balochistan Grand Alliance leader Quddus Kakar asserted that they will register their protest outside assembly. He said that the protestors will not will never withdraw their demands.
