Moonis Elahi confirms 1st virus case in Gujrat
A person tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday in Gujrat, said a report which was confirmed by PML-Q leader Chaudhry Moonis Elahi through a tweet.
Moonis said the first coronavirus patient, who had returned from Spain some days back, had been shifted to a designated area after testing.

He said the patient’s house had been cordoned, while the family members were also being tested for the virus. “Everyone needs to be vigilant and play their role,” Moonis stressed.
On the other hand, News24HD reported that the patient was admitted in the Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital after showing symptoms. However, the hospital administration refused to share the report with the media.
Meanwhile, the senior doctors are holding a meeting to discuss ways and means to tackle the situation.
