PM Imran Khan to address nation over coronavirus in a short while

Prime Minister Imran Khan has recorded his address to the nation as coronavirus outbreak seems to be spiralling out of control in Pakistan.
The prime minister’s address to the nation would be telecast in an hour or so. In the 15 to 20 minutes long address, the prime minister would highlight issues like virus prevention and the initiatives the government has taken to protect people against the pandemic. He would also appeal to the nation to cooperate with the government and the state institutions in this hour of need.
Later, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan confirmed through a tweet that the prime minister would address the nation at 9.30 pm on Tuesday.
