100-year-old Israel gets Covid jab at Karachi hospital

A 100-year-old Pakistani man has received his first dose of the coronavirus vaccine at a hospital in Karachi on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Sindh Health Department said ‘100-year-old’ citizen named Israel Ahmed Minai was vaccinated against coronavirus in Karachi. 

He was vaccinated against coronavirus at a private hospital. He was brought to the hospital on wheel-chair and he claimed that he is 100 years old. 

The hospital administration checked the CNIC of the old citizen to confirm his age. The man was a resident of DHA, Karachi. He was kept in observation for half an hour then allowed to go home.
