Aseefa Bhutto to contest by-election from NA-207, nomination papers submitted

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and daughter of President Asif Ali Zardari Aseefa Bhutto Zardari has submitted nomination papers for NA-207 Nawabshah for by-elections, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

The seat of NA-207 became vacant after Asif Ali Zardari became President on which by-elections are going to be held again.

Earlier, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari along with Azra Fazal Pechuho, Ziaul Hasan Lanjar and others were also present on the occasion.

Asif Ali Zardari was successful in the general elections in National Assembly Constituency NA-207.

Now, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari is the candidate of Pakistan People’s Party from NA-207 Shaheed Benazirabad One in the by-elections.

On the occasion of Aseefa Bhutto Zardari's arrival, strict security arrangements were made in RO office and surrounding areas.

Entry of general public as well as media representatives was also banned in RO office.

It may be mention here that Aseefa Bhutto has been declared first lady earlier.
