13th meeting of SIFC Executive Committee held

Thirteenth meeting of the SIFC Executive Committee was held on Monday.

Federal Ministry for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal chaired the meeting on March 17. Federal ministers, SIFC national coordinator, and other senior officials attended the meeting, which reviewed progress on various projects and policy measures.

The meeting also discussed issues like connectivity, infrastructure, oil and gas and ports. The meeting directed the officials to speed up work on motorways and highways in Punjab, Balochistan and Sindh. The meeting emphasized that public private model should be adopted for construction of roads linking to seaports.
